Lafayette, CO (February 14, 2019) – bulb Digital Portfolios announced the appointment of Corey Gray as vice president of customer success on their leadership team, furthering their commitment to provide top drawer care and support to customers and partners.
Corey was most recently the director of client services for NCS Pearson, where he led the success of the Schoolnet Assessment and Reporting platform. Under his direction, this team serviced more than 6 million students through large district and school-wide assessments to meet benchmarking and formative assessment goals. Before joining Pearson, Corey served in a leadership role at Tyler Technologies, a public-sector software company supporting law enforcement, court systems and legal teams.
“We are thrilled to have Corey on the team to support the growing number of schools, districts and countries who are adopting digital portfolios as a means for students to tell their whole story and to evaluate competencies and skills. His experience working globally will accelerate our ability to support educators through this transition,” said Eric Goldreyer, chief executive officer, bulb Digital Portfolios.
Corey brings more than 20 years of experience in building customer care and training programs to bulb. In his role, he will be responsible for the development of the company’s customer relationship team, including overall management of the team, adoption and wide-scale adoption of digital portfolios and retention to support the use of portfolios as an alternative evaluation of skills and competencies.
To support continued global growth and adoption of digital portfolios, the company also announced the following additions to the sales team.
Pam Gunter brings more than 24 years of experience in education to bulb. Prior to joining the company, she held sales consultant positions at Turnitin, Perfection Learning and ETA Cuisenaire. Pam began her career as a teacher in Florida working in both Brevard and Orange Counties. As a sales executive at bulb, she will be supporting educators across Florida as they adopt the use of digital portfolios.
For 30 years, Karen Volkers has helped advance education and learning in New England and the Northeast. Prior to joining bulb, she represented Harcourt Assessment and CTB/McGraw-Hill Education. While working for these companies, she supported many educators at the class, school, and district levels in the best practices of using assessment tools and data to inform instruction, set performance goals, and measure growth. Karen will continue to strengthen education in the region through her work with bulb as a sales executive.
Mark Rushworth joins the international team as a European sales manager. For the past 17 years, he’s helped schools across Europe transition to digital learning solutions. Most recently he led a sales team for New Era Education and has held business development positions at Pearson Fronter UK and Learning Possibilities.
