AUSTIN, TX (May 2, 2018) – bulb, Inc. announced today that Andrew J. Cary has joined the company’s executive team as its senior vice president for strategy and development. Andrew brings more than 30 years of public education and edtech experience to bulb, with tenure at Public Consulting Group (PCG), Citelighter (Sylvan Learning), SAFARI Montage and Schoolnet/Pearson. In addition to his work in education, Andrew has been recognized for his efforts in the public and non-profit sectors.

Prior to joining bulb, Andrew served as PCG business development manager where he engaged strategic national accounts with state departments of education, educational service agencies, and large city (CGCS) districts at the cabinet level.
Andrew came to the PCG after the successful sale of Citelighter to Sylvan Learning System. During Andrew’s tenure at Citelighter as vice president ~ business development, Andrew worked across the country and abroad to expand Citelighter’s footprint, build internal capacity and engage strategic relationships with Educational Service Agencies, large city districts, national associations and other stakeholder groups to ensure literacy and writing are critical anchors to educational program planning.
